The XER toolkit can import Prima Vera P6 files, Microsoft Project MPP files, and XML files.

Click the import MPP or XR files button on the homepage of the XER toolkit, this will open a new file explorer window, navigate to where the P6 or MPP files are located, select your file and then click open, the XR toolkit will then import the file.

Once the XR toolkit has completed importing the file, your project will be displayed on the screen, if the file contains multiple projects, you can select which projects you’d like to import, the homepage will be updated with your selected projects.

The XER toolkit is able to analyse multiple projects at once; you can choose the projects you’d like in your analysis by clicking the toggle button on the left of a project with grey indicating that the project is not included.
