How to import Primavera P6 XER or Microsoft Project MPP files

The XER Toolkit can import Primavera P6 files, Microsoft Project MPP files, and XML files. You can start this process by clicking the import button at the top of the screen, or simply dragging and dropping a file into one of the Toolkit’s folders. The XER Toolkit will then import the file.

Once the import process is completed, your project will be displayed on the screen. If you upload a file that contains multiple projects, you can select which ones you would like to import with the toggle buttons. Press the Confirm button, allow the importing process to finish, and then the selected projects will appear in your project homepage.

The XER Toolkit is able to analyse multiple projects at once. You can choose the projects that you would like in your analysis by switching the button on the right to say either Open or Closed.
