How to revise a project schedule with latest update

If you have projects within your database that have either been shared, have a baseline assigned, or you are managing progress update processes using the XER Toolkit, then it is important to know how to revise a project. By using the update function, you can retain the current project settings, reports, and baselines.

To start, open the hamburger menu of the project you wish to update, and then click Upload Latest. Once you’ve selected the updated project from your device, XER Toolkit will upload the new file, and then you’ll be asked whether you want to delete or keep the project you’re updating. For this example, we’ll keep the original project.

The toolkit will update the project to the selected version whilst retaining all share settings, assigned baselines, and any progress update information. Both the original project and the updated version are now available in the toolkit.
