XER Schedule Toolkit Showcases Next-Generation Schedule Analysis at Primavera Project Professionals Conference 2026

XER Schedule Toolkit joined planning, scheduling and project controls professionals at the Primavera Project Professionals Conference 2026, showcasing the latest developments in its schedule analysis software.

Held on Thursday 15 October at IET London, Savoy Place, the conference brought together professionals working with Oracle Primavera solutions, providing a platform for technical discussions, knowledge sharing and exploring developments in project planning and controls.

Representing XER Schedule Toolkit were Matthew Tomlinson, Business Development Executive, and Ellis Denton, Director, who spent the day meeting delegates, discussing the challenges facing planning professionals and demonstrating how XER helps teams interrogate, analyse and communicate complex project schedules.

A key focus for XER was its recently introduced XER 2.0 Beta, featuring a completely rebuilt Schedule Viewer designed to improve the experience of working with large, complex Primavera P6 programmes.

The updated Viewer brings together a configurable Activity List and interactive Gantt chart, allowing users to navigate detailed schedules, investigate activity relationships and identify important programme information within a single workspace.

For project controls professionals managing programmes containing thousands of activities, the ability to interrogate schedule data efficiently is essential to identifying potential risks, understanding progress and supporting informed decisions.

Matthew Tomlinson, Business Development Executive at XER Schedule Toolkit, commented:

“Speaking directly with Primavera users gives us valuable insight into the challenges organisations face when managing increasingly complex project schedules.

One of the things we regularly discuss with planning professionals is the difficulty of interrogating large programmes efficiently. It’s not just about viewing thousands of activities; it’s about understanding the relationships between them, identifying potential risks and being able to communicate that information clearly.

Our new Schedule Viewer has been developed with those challenges in mind, giving users a faster and more intuitive way to explore their programme data while retaining the depth of analysis that project controls professionals require.”

The conference also provided an opportunity for XER to engage directly with Primavera users and discuss how evolving project requirements are shaping the tools used by planning and project controls teams.

With increasingly complex programmes and greater expectations around reporting, transparency and collaboration, software that helps professionals interpret schedule information continues to play an important role in effective project delivery.

XER Schedule Toolkit would like to thank the event organisers and everyone who visited the team throughout the conference.
